because we know low protein like you do

My name is Eileen and I'm a mom with two daughters, Faye and Kate. They both have Phenylketonuria (PKU), and like any parent I want to do the best I can to help make them healthy and happy. Having PKU brings added challenges. I remember how difficult I found cooking low protein food when the girls were little. I had spent the previous 15 years in the catering trade, cooking in hotels, bars, restaurant and cafes, yet I still couldn't make anything edible for my young daughters.

I remember thinking that if Faye and Kate were to grow up eating food that they didn't enjoy, it would be impossible for them to stick to the diet.

That's why I persevered and developed the Fate range and continue to devise more recipes. I knew that life would be so much easier if low protein food was tasty, well presented and just as good as anyone else's.

Faye and Kate are both young adults now, and there is one thing I am quite sure about,

it has all been very worthwhile. They have both grown up very positive about their diet,

are independent, now managing a large part of it themselves. They still enjoy trying new foods and cooking and inventing new dishes.

I couldn't ask for anything more.

I will never pretend that the low protein way of life

isn't tricky, but I sincerly hope that the Fate range makes

living with the low protein diet a little easier.
